Hellman, Lillian

Play Description

Long before Arthur MillerÔÇÖs The Crucible, Lillian Hellman shocked audiences with her indictment of a society which blindly swallows unsubstantiated lies and accusations. This production of the play is set in the 1950s to draw attention to similarities with the McCarthy era.
