Union organizer Larry Foreman and the workers of Steeltown, USA, fight for their rights against unscrupulous tycoon Mr. Mister in this satirical Depression-era musical. First produced in 1937, The Cradle Will Rock draws on popular musical styles of the time to shine a bright light on a battle between labor and corporate power.
